Rivkah M. Walton, MFA, the founding Director of the Institute
for Contemporary Midrash, has midwifed ICM's training program into being and has
comprehensive responsibility for the project. During her six-year tenure with
the National Havurah Committee, Rivkah transformed the NHC Summer Institute into
a premier model for intensive adult education. She is a visual artist, a
Bibliodrama practitioner, and an acknowledged adult education teacher
specializing in participatory and inter-disciplinary approaches to learning. Rivkah is pleased to serve as an Advisor to Women's Bible Legends, a website that supports midrashic writing about biblical women and a community of Jewish and Christian writers.
Rivkah Walton is offering an intensive Bibliodrama Directing Training at the ALEPH/Ruach Ha'aretz Winter Retreat, February 2-8, 2009, at the Madonna Center, Albuquerque, N.M.
