Moshe Budmor, PhD, is a composer, conductor and musician,
with degrees in choral and orchestral conducting from Juilliard, and a doctorate
in composition and post-doctoral work in ethnomusicology from Columbia
University. He has directed orchestras and choruses in Haifa, New York and
Princeton, and has been professor of music at universities in the US, Israel and
Germany. Moshe is an expert in teaching non-musicians to compose innovative
music that is interpretive of sacred texts, and has presented his workshops on
music-making in the classroom in the United States, Israel and Europe.
